Campaign notes: The cult of Chuck Turner, a guide for undecided progvoters and more

WBUR declares Chuck Turner kind of a cult leader, says that helps explain why the Innocent Until Proven Guilty Councilor will win tomorrow.

Are you a still undecided progressive? The Jamaica Plain Progressives have just the candidates' guide for you - shows candidate answers to questionnaires.

It's killing Open Media Boston that they can't endorse candidates, because they're a non-profit, and that'd be a no-no, so the best they can do is tell you to find progressive candidates tomorrow and vote for them.

Chris Lovett examines residency requirements and the race for mayor.

The Herald reports Flaherty says he'll run again if he loses tomorrow - but, of course, he says that won't happen.

The Globe reports Menino and Flaherty went campaigning yesterday.

The Globe declares MIT's political-science department "top ranked," which means we need to pay more attention to chairman's detailed analysis of the changing demographics of Boston voters. Basically, he's discovered that Boston has a lot more minority residents than it used to.

Word on Twitter, and the Boston.com and Herald.com comment sections is that Suffolk University did a Mayoral poll over the weekend and Flaherty and Menino are within SINGLE digits. Supposedly it's being released tonight. Anyone else hear anything?

suffolk would only release the poll if it showed Menino with a big league because they are in the tank (ever heard of John Nucci?) . I did get a quick two question tracking like poll from a research firm yesterday. Could have been a suffolk poll. Channel 7 would release results because they are a partnership with Suffolk for polling or at least it would seem that way. If they don't release, then I might actually believe flaherty's polling that says single digits.

Anyone else get the robocall from the right-wing Small Property Owners Association for Michael Flaherty (and others, like Keneally), citing their opposition to tenants rights to organize unions, a proposal put forward by -- surprise, Sam Yoon!

Looks like the ticket is falling prey to its internal contradictions!

Look, I love Twitter almost more than life itself, as anybody who's been following UH recently knows.

But please, Mr. or Ms. MaConcernedCitizen who logged on here for the first time ever about 2 1/2 hours ago. That "word" started with this tweet from Molly Wish, who may be a perfectly fine and wonderful person but who also is a Flaherty partisan on #bostonelection. I'd no more trust "word" from her at this point than I would from one of her counterparts on the Menino side (and yes, while hizzonah wouldn't know a hashtag if it came up to him and shook his hand, he has supporters who would).
