Like, how can you consider a seat that was formerly Republican staying Republican indicative of a losing streak? Or maybe that's what a "Loosing" streak actually means? Seriously, MA GOP, call me when you make up for than 15% of the state legislature. Then we can talk about a losing streak.

Sal DiDomenico, an Everett city councilor, was elected state senator Tuesday.

DiDomenico, a Democrat, was up against John Cesan, a little-known Independent from Agawam.

This was the contest to succeed Anthony Galluccio.
