For me, I don't take both because I only have time to read one, and what's the point of taking something I'm just going to throw away without looking at?

I prefer the Metro because BostonNow's print is too small for me to read comfortably in a moving vehicle. The BostonNow guy doesn't even bother to try to give me one anymore, although we still exchange polite greetings.

I'll take Boston Now if I've already read Metro, but I just get very bothered by the lack of staples. That's fine in a larger paper, but Boston Now just seems to come undone as soon as I unfold the first page. Metro has staples! Now there's a paper!

No, I still don't bother to read much of it or take it in most cases.

It just occurred to me this morning to snag a copy at Sullivan for practical reasons. The lack of a staple makes it much easer to fashion into a fan.

The staples in the metro make accordion pleating more difficult, let alone removing pages to get the stiffness just right.
