Am I the only one who read
Am I the only one who read "manholes" as "massholes" due, perhaps, at least partially, to the preceding article, and upon realizing my mistake, was a little more surprised than I might have been if it actually had said "massholes" ?
Not the first time
This is going to be a continuing problem because of all the development going on with no improvement to the infrastructure. All the new residents who complain every time the electricity goes out (and it's usually in the summer during heatwaves) don't understand that their luxury condos with AC, Sub Zero fridges etc. puts a load on the system that wasn't made to handle it.
NStar supposedly made heavy
NStar supposedly made heavy improvements, spending an alleged 3 billion on infrastructure work in the past couple years. I'm kind of wondering where it all went.
where there's smoke there's fire
huh. thought that was some smokey smelling steam issuing forth from the manhole at that intersection yesterday...
