Great White Shark Sighting off Duxbury Coast

State Police recorded this great white off Duxbury today from one of their helicopters.

Why is the state police using a chopper to look for sharks in the water? This raises questions about the increased risk from sharks, I wouldn't swim anywhere in the area without more answers.

TL;DR they closed the beach for a bit 'cause it was within 75 yards of the beach. But realistically, the risk of a shark attack is significantly overblown anyway. You're 93x more likely to be killed by contact with a hot water tap than in a shark attack. Also lightning. Also about a zillion other things. It's okay.
