Sox fans can't change their spots - or their T-shirts

Boston Police report arresting a pair of alleged knuckleheads from Waltham in Section 31 at Fenway Park last night:

Officers spoke to witnesses who stated that they observed two fans throwing beer at another group of fans. Witnesses further stated that the fans responsible for throwing the beer, then, attempted to escape capture by changing their shirts in hopes of blending into the crowd. That plan, however, proved unsuccessful when numerous fans positively identified and pointed out the suspects.

Innocent until proven covered in beer.

they flash a fan complaint phone number on the jumbotron when they have the players go over the rules. I don't know what it is though.

Okay, off-topic, but why did the Red Sox wear their red shirts during tonight's game?

I know they wear the grey when away, and the white when at home ... and even the green on St Patrick's Day, but all I can find online is that red is an "alternative" color.

In the old days, if the color of the Sox jersey was similar to the opponents', they'd wear the away/home jersey, but I had never seen the red jersey before.

Sorry in advance, but not everyone is a die-hard fan!

they also wore green on April 20th (420)when they played the Yankees.
I forget why, I think it was a Red Auerbach tribute, but I liked that.

I remembered the green shirts, that it was 420, an Auerbach tribute & that they played the yanks.
