One car destroyed, one damaged by falling ice bombs

Spinorama84 happened upon some carnage in the parking lot between Hurricane O'Reilly's and the Fours on Canal Street this afternoon: One car heavily damaged by ice boulders falling from the building and one with its windshield taken out. No injuries, he reports.

Given the ice loadings in the area, the mister and I deliberately selected a parking lot this morning where this wouldn't happen.

Cue a pottyice drop from a plane to prove me wrong ...

I walk by there every day and would have sworn to you that the worst of the icicles were gone after last week. Apparently not.
