Dancing across the finish line
By adamg on Tue, 04/28/2015 - 8:19am
Jay Franzone was among those on hand to watch Adrianne Haslet-Davis dance across the Boston Marathon finish line in Copley Square this morning.
Haslet-Davis, you may recall, was the ballroom dancer who lost her left leg below the knee in the 2013 bombings.

Nice
I particularly like the construction workers who are taking vids of this victory dance.
I was going to comment on the construction guys, too!
Not that construction workers can't enjoy watching ballroom dancing, or even do it themselves (I know one such person in that profession who is an exceptional dancer!), but it is just such a lovely paradoxical scene to have gowns and hardhats in the same frame.
Perhaps my favorite part about this whole image, however, is that this is one gigantic middle finger right back at that clown sitting in the federal court just a couple miles away (and at all others who would believe that acts such as those he perpetrated could break our society).
Was?
Not just "was" - clearly she still is a ballroom dancer, etc.

So beautiful
This was so incredibly gorgeous I cried my eyes out first thing this morning when I saw it. So glad she's still dancing, totally inspiring.
