It is. I imagine Adam confused the "Pier 4" in the Charlestown Navy Yard for the one on the South Boston Waterfront. This city sure loves to give multiple places the same name.
It's just a designation system.
Boston had a naval presence in two locations once.
I stopped by today while on another errand. The Spanish Navy commander is out to schmooze people and they just wave you through with minimal fuss. I didn't board.
Open to public?
Anyone know if they'll be having public visiting hours?

It's now Thursday. Figuratively, if not literally, that ship has sailed.
But thanks for the reference. It pointed to the visit in July of the Hermione (which I knew about) and the Sagres (which I didn't).
Not true
The ship is open starting Tuesday. You can visit through Saturday; I went Thursday. See the hours at the bottom of the article from WBUR.
