New police dog could be named Tuuka

BPD has released the list of finalist names for its new K-9 puppy: Cannon, Clink, Hero, Kevlar, Kojack, Tango, Titus, Rocco, Tuuka and Viggo. Officer Troy Caisey, the department's dog trainer, will make the final selection, the department says, adding it received 20,000 suggestions.

Ruggles was the best idea. There's only one name on the finalist list that has anything to do with Boston, as far as I can tell. And "Tuuka" is just one consonant away from something you don't want to hear shouted round the 'hood.

Why was I expecting something
Why was I expecting something non-cringeworthy? Apparently the other suggestions, "Jetah sucks" and "Dunkies Khed" contained too many syllables.
