But seriously, I don't think I can ever eat at Chipotle again. This location or any other. I know logically that the odds of getting sick are pretty small, but I just can't get the taint of the place out of my head. Poor, poor Chipotle.
Yes, they have to wait at least six months after eating Chipotle. I do feel bad for the non-management folks who are/were employed at that location. Cleanliness and proper food safety practices are absolutely a team effort, but it's on the management to educate and enforce.
I've eaten at Chipotle plenty of times without incident, and enjoyed better-than-decent meals. I wouldn't hesitate for a second before going back. Think about it -- with all the scrutiny they're getting, they must be dialing up the cleanliness regimen through the roof. They're probably the SAFEST restaurant chain you could possible choose these days.
Seeing as Chipotle has yet another outbreak in Oklahoma and Kansas just today, obviously they must have missed the memo.
Anyway, when a restaurant has this occur I strike them off my list for good. Perhaps they are a lot better now after being caught but I'd rather the lack of business be a signal that there is no 2nd chances for redemption if a chain can't keep their food safe. Screw up once and go out of business: let that be a lesson to other restaurants who cut corners on safety. (You too, Clover)

to that employee whose taint caused this to begin with?
It isn't a one-employee problem
Chipotle has been having national issues with food safety lately.
none of which
are related to norovirus, nor the citation brought against that particular chipotle for allowing a sick employee to work there
