By adamg on Wed, 12/23/2015 - 11:19am
No immediate word on just what they were doing in the tail end of Fort Point Channel shortly after 11 a.m., but Boston firefighters got them a ladder, they climbed out and now they're under the care of Boston EMS.

which bridge is this?
I've never heard of this bridge, and Google isn't especially helpful.
It's the bridge connecting
It's the bridge connecting Broadway and Traveler St in Southie/ the South End. It's named after a white supremacist and truly terrible human being.
The Former Site of The Broadway Bridge
Connecting Southie to the "mainland" of Boston. It used to be said of the occasional South Boston resident, "He (or she) has never been over the Broadway Bridge", meaning that person was such a provincial resident of South Boston he (or she) lived an entire life without ever leaving Southie for ANYTHING.

Why would someone have left
Why would someone have left Southie when they could get their smokes at Tedeschi's and their green sweatpants at Family Dollar?
Ignorant
Smokes are cheaper at Family Dollar.
James Kelly Bridge
It's the former new Broadway Bridge that was renamed James Kelly bridge after long time Boston City Council member who passed away several years ago. It is the bridge that links the South End to South Boston and connects from South Boston to the on ramps for the Mass Pike and 93 Northbound. and South Station ramps.
A lot of drug addicts and
A lot of drug addicts and homeless live under and around that bridge
It will always be known as the Broadway Bridge
Regardless of whose name they put on it.
WBZ reported a cop treated by EMS
and the location is popular for the homeless and drinking.
Hotel Homeless
Where do you think the homeless were going to move to when they were evicted from their tent city under the highway. The state put up a parking lot and kicked out these lost souls and they now live on railroad property.
