Pam Cross leaving Channel 5
By adamg on Thu, 01/14/2016 - 9:56am
News One reports on Pam Cross's departure after 35 years at the station.
The Emerson graduate's leaving comes just as the station is debuting a new 4:30 p.m. newscast that will feature 24 stories in just 12 minutes (presumably all read by Ed Harding after he inhales a couple balloons' worth of helium).

All the good ones are leaving
All the good ones are leaving or have left. Only to be replaced with some bubble headed flake who just reads whats put in front of them. But, most importantly they look good.
I've enjoyed her work.
Thanks Pam and best of luck!
Does this leave an opening
Does this leave an opening for the lovely and talented and gambacious Maria Stephanos at Chanel 5 , maybe scoop her up before the implosion at Chanel 7, get her under wraps? And what will become of the equally lovely and talented Kim Khazei ?
No Fox Please
No Fox escapees please. The last one they brought in (Delagarza) read the news like she was still at Fox-25 with the same editorializations added in. No thanks. It took her months to fit in, then she left and now does that cheesy late night show. Pass thanks.
Uggh...
She's the worst. Isn't she Daivd Wade's ex? She claims all over the place that she's a "single mother" raising her daughter alone. I think you can only call yourself that when your ex is a deadbeat.
Pam Cross has always been great.
Ed Harding, on the other hand, is THE WORST!
I feel bad for Ed. I've no
I feel bad for Ed. I've no problem with his work, just the desperate attempt to appear "youthful".
I don't know who dyes his hair, but I'd stay away from that one.
Is she leaving because they
Is she leaving because they gave everyone more newscasts to do but without more pay? I'd imagine the staff isn't so happy about doing another hour of news each day.
Pam was always a Professional! TY
Pam was always a Professional to deal with out in the streets with everyone. She's a GET if she still wants to work?
Standing out...
...by producing shit.
Yeah, just what we need - more superficiality! Maybe we can have more security cam clips of convenience store robberies in Florida and highway accidents in Topeka. I mean, that's news you can use! Like syrup of ipecac.
