Then Boston Police arrive and release him because they didn't have probable cause for arrest, the Heights reports. And they took him to the hospital for the injuries he suffered when tackled.

My brain just exploded. It goes against everything the media has been telling me to believe about the police.
It's perfectly appropriate behavior
to rummage around in people's backyards. If you see this in your backyard don't call the police. There would be no probable cause to detain the intruder.

Attempted Breaking and Entering? A felony, arrestable all day and night, even by a private citizen if they can show the suspect "in fact committed" the crime. A "ground ball" as a great Captain taught us in the academy. There must be more to this.
