Multi-culti eatery to open in new Berklee building
By adamg on Wed, 06/22/2016 - 11:15am
Boston Restaurant Talk reports a multi-cuisine restaurant called B3 plans to open in the newly opened Berklee tower on Mass. Ave., where the McDonald's used to be. People looking for a quiet spot to eat might want to look elsewhere because B3 "will be a fluid space where food is alive with freshness and flavor and music just happens."

newly opened tower?
that might be a surprise to the kids who lived there all year
place looks exactly like a jail
Well ...
In a city as old as Boston, "a year ago" counts as new, no? :-).
??
Does it? Please explain further, I don't see it.
About time they filled that
About time they filled that space. I'm still amazed it took this longer after the completion, and occupation of the tower to fill a street level space. Here's our shiny new tower, all done, except this part in the front covered with kraft paper.
Science Fiction restaurant?
Eating in fluidic space? Serving the inhabitants who lived in fluidic space and were encountered by the crew of Voyager ?
For want of a comma: fluid space where food is alive, with freshness and flavor. Live food? Where the cow walks to you table and asks what part of it you would like?
A science fiction themed restaurant? That would be fun.
Food sent from the kitchen via replicator styled devices, wait staff doing Michael Jackson's Robot dance, uniforms from the Jetsons? Menu based on the periodic table that explain what the molecular constructions of the food is including nuclear ratings of hot peppers?
Hokie and corny but could be a lot of fun.
"and music just happens"
Why don't they just say "impromptu drum-circles" and be done with it?
Maybe
They'll break out in song and dance a la Fame. Everything old is new again. Bring on dem legwarmers!
Boy...
Who need in everyone's cereal this morning? A restaurant, which may be cool, or may be a bit over-the-top, is moving in and there's nothing but bitchin and moanin'.
Everyone smile, please.
Thank you.
Ps - who called Bostonians, " Nattering nabobs of negativity"?
Spiro T Agnew regarding the press
That was one of the Veeps who was prosecuted out of office before his boss had to quit. He thought his wit was sharp as a rapier until the prosecution proved their blade was sharper.
William Safire wrote it for
William Safire wrote it for Spiro Agnewm and the phrase is actually 'nattering nabobs of negativism.'
The comment was aimed at the press, not Bostonians.
Thanks Anon
I must have been confusing William Safire with Rick Pitino.
And correction: Meant to type "peed", not "need".
More Alliteration
Check out the sentence that followed "nattering".....
Lol Boston
This is Boston - music doesn't "just happen". formal announcement, community meetings, board of appeals meeting .. then, maybe.
Don't forget
The permitting process ...
Ah, I remember the days when
restaurant names were easily understood.
Ah, I remember the days when
restaurant names were easily understood. And they are searching for a "passionate" General Manager.
