Any word on speakers? The organization of this one felt a lot more slapdash than the other recent protests, so I'm wondering if it's worth it to duck out of work for the afternoon.
duck out
Apparently you fit right into the "non-essential" personnel dept.
I sincerely hope
You were equally disdainful of the million or so apparently unemployable losers who had nothing better to do on a recent Tuesday than watch football players ride around in Duck Boats.
Sadly, the victory parade
probably got far more media coverage than this rally will.
state house day without a woman...

Pro-Family Lobby Day
Also at the State House, 10am to 2pm.

The Day I Wish I Was A State Rep.
The bile I could spill at the Godbyists would be so much fun.
You have to love when an agenda of hate is passed off as "Family Oriented".
This is getting stupid
How about a day without people?
And you really wanna screw the country for a day?
Have a day without Trump voters. You might not like it, but much of everyday life would probably become unlivable.
Again, this is WHY he won.
"This is WHY he won."
Is there anything you can't throw this at these days?
Depends
As long as the left keeps throwing identity politics in the face of Trump voters - in a word - no.
Laughable
Conservative identity politics were front-stage-center this election cycle for white, straight, rural, christian, traditionalism and so on and so on.
Otherwise I don't see why we have this "national security" ruse that's the immigration ban/EO and rescinding of guidelines on how to handle workplace matters in regards to LGBTQ workers. Not to mention the whole discourse on "political correctness", which is just basically synonymous to "let me say bigoted things openly".
Even those views lost the popular opinion by 3mm votes. Trump won by technicality, but I'd hardly use the electoral college as a real barometer for the way the majority of voters feel, because let's face it, the popular vote says otherwise.
A day without Trump voters???
Again, this is WHY he won.
Well, that plus practically speaking, there were no candidates to vote FOR, only candidates to vote AGAINST. That's where Clinton comes in.
Do you have a link to more info, such as an event page?
I know of A Day Without Women Rally at Downtown Crossing at 4 pm, and Women Marching for Undocumented Women at Copley Square at 5 pm, but not about this State House event.
