Baker joins other governors to plead with Senate not to screw up health insurance
By adamg on Wed, 07/26/2017 - 11:10pm
The Hill reports on a letter signed by Baker and other governors of both parties on a possible Senate measure that could lead to the destruction of the state's current health-insurance system.
The letter comes even as the state House of Representatives was rejecting Baker's proposal to move large number of people off MassHealth and into privately-run insurance plans.

Baker seven years too late on screwing up healthcare...
Where was Baker in 2010, when ex-President Obama was really screwing up healthcare, not to mention Deval's botched billion dollar website? Is Baker acknowledging that healthcare was a mess when he made millions at Harvard Pilgrim? Wait until the waivers on the major unions and Obama corporate favorites expire this year and millions more feel the "benefits" of Obamacare, with premiums and deductibles so high, they can't use it. The start date for these groups was intentionally pushed back to 2017 to help Hillary, to no avail. Meanwhile the Mass budget has a $430,000,000 shortfall as illegals and other frauds enjoy free Masshealth, dental and gender reassignment on the taxpayer's dime.
A wise man once said, "Obamacare only works if you don't."
Bravo, got all the talking points somehow in there.
Most impressive, digs at Baker, President Obama, Deval, Romney Care/ACA, unions, Hillary, Masshealth, transgender people, and undocumented immigrants all in one. Its like a buzz word bingo of who could sound like the biggest moron sprouting made up talking points that have no basis in reality.
Seriously though, that was by far the most idiotic, stupid, border line incoherent rambling and attempt at trolling I have read in awhile. Gotta say it at least got a chuckle out of me, so kudos for that, but really, to successfully troll you need to turn down the stupid a bit, not take it to 11.
Disagree on one point
"borderline" incoherent? He crossed that border with his second to last sentence.
I guess I should have wrote
I guess I should have wrote borderline coherent instead - in that it had words that formed sentences at least :)
Makes me wonder
Why hasn't an O-FISH-L UHub Drinking Game been made yet?
Oh
Let me fix this for you:
I know you'd rather screw over 95% of people to prevent the 5% of deadbeats from getting "free money". That attitude is moronic, particularly coming from someone who claims to have worked for the government most of their life.
He's not right
But he has a couple of good points. If your company or the govt is not paying your health care it's gotten beyond outrageous. A high deductible plan for a couple is over $1000 a month. Throw in any health issues and dental and it could easily run $20k per year for health care.
The good part of Obamacare is universal coverage. The downside is cost and complexity. That's the part that needs fixing.
Huge hat tip for profiles in courage to Murkowski, Collins and McCain last night.
You are one of the frauds
You are one of the frauds that enjoy subsidized healthcare. We all know this. You aren't fooling anyone. But its only bad when "other" people get healthcare on the taxpayer's dime, right?
