Steve Spezzano captured this touching or sad (hard to tell with a panda) scene under McGrath Highway by the Taylor rental place in Somerville today.

Me and my friends - Koala,
Me and my friends - Koala, Care B, Pooh, and me...
We just wanted to celebrate the beginning of our freshman year at BC by going out for pizza in Cleveland Circle. How were we to know our fake IDs were good enough to get us overpriced beer but not good enough to keep the place from getting its license suspended?
Now our buzz just seems so... lame. Our little victory, so... hollow.
...and let down. It's as if some great portion of what we've been told in popular culture about alcohol and its part in making our lives complete... wasn't true.
Now I'm here at the crossroads of might-have-been and what-may-be (as well as being near the crossroad of Sutherland and Orkney on a discarded couch) - clutching the hollow, echoing remains of dreams and contemplating terrible possibilities about life and truth.
What if...? What if OTHER things turn out not to be the consequence-free panacea and aqua vitae I've always been led to believe they were, as alcohol has?
What if... What if SEX isn't all care-free as I was told?
what do I do then?
