Trump goes too far even for Robert Kraft

The Patriots owner and Brookline resident is deeply disappointed by the tone of the president's call for the banishment of any athletes who dare protest police brutality.

Since the media-fueled "hands up, don't shoot" never happened, perhaps the Boston and national media can re-focus on a proven African-American victim, poor Michelle Robinson, forced into prostitution due to financial hardship, trading her body for cash with a married, billionaire, 60+ year old Boston area businessman and "philanthropist." That narrows it down a bit.

Under a crazy probation agreement, the prostitute was ordered never to say the client's name while on probation. She has now successfully completed probation so she can reveal the name. Will the media follow-up? If this isn't exploitation of blacks, nothing is. Crickets from the dutiful media.

Yes, that's very relevant.

This is 'human trafficking'. It's a very serious crime. Even if you're just the 'john' you can be charged (well, maybe overcharged a bit...) with violating that person's rights. Just ask the UN. Human trafficking. Just ask Martha Coakley.

Guy is contributing to 'human trafficking'.

Look it up yourselves. It's real.

Seriously, your "view" of the world is warped. How many people need to tell you this before you either get help or do something you regret?

An escort figured out she had a wealthy and prominent client and threatened to expose him if he didn't pay her exorbitant rates for her visits. Although he committed a crime, she committed a much worse offense and while the guy was a victim he actually felt sorry for her and they both just wanted to put this behind them.

The only reason for you to raise this is because you assume you can bring down a Democrat with it. You're willing to distort reality (or you have no control over your inability to see reality clearly) AND you think your audience here is too stupid to remember or learn the truth.

Do you see how warped that thinking is? You need help.

That this woman thinks her services are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars? That customers and prostitutes are not treated equally under the law?

How did she commit a "much worse crime" than exploitation of another human being?

The penalties for prostitution are less serious than those for extortion.

I must give Brady credit.

I heard a portion of his remarks on the topic on newsradio and was appalled that he seemed to resorting to platitudes about respecting different opinions and bending over backwards to not have to say anything about 45, critical or not (sorry Tommy boy, it's clear you didn't want to talk about it, but you put the hat in your locker for your interviews back then, so you put the issue of your relationship with him on the table)

When I checked a written source, they had a more complete report. Apparently he did say something direct about 45's remarks being unsatisfactory or inappropriate or something.

In case anyone's still unclear about why these players are protesting.

https://www.rawstory.com/2017/09/pennsylvania-fire-chief-calls-steelers-...

CBS Pittsburgh reports that Paul Smith, the chief of the volunteer fire department in Cecil Township, Pennsylvania, posted on Facebook that Tomlin “just added himself to the list of no-good n*ggers” for his decision to note take the field during the anthem.

“Yes, I said it,” Smith added afterward.

Racists: now's the part where you call Tomlin a "thug". Don't disappoint me.

Bob Kraft is one of them, for sure, but he's pissed off tons of other people, even some of his biggest supporters.

Some football players express themselves by refusing to stand for the national anthem. Liberals: support. Conservatives: call for them to be punished.

Fire chief from some podunk town expresses racist comments in response. Liberals: call for him to be punished. (He resigns.)

Trump expresses his opinion, which is that these football players should be punished for their expression. Conservatives: support. Liberals: call for them to be punished.

I honestly don't even know how to react to this breathtaking level of hypocrisy on all sides other than to just laugh.
