Hanley Ramirez had nothing to do with that box of fentanyl, Globe reports

The Globe reports federal officials are NOT investigating the former Red Sox player; that the guy who was found with the box dropped his name to try to get out of an arrest (and that it didn't work). The report, by two Globe reporters, including veteran crime writer Shelly Murphy, does not mention the source of the original story that got everbody thinking there was more to the end of Ramirez's time in Boston than just baseball - Michele with One L McPhee.

Michelle "do you know who I am" McPhee? That Michelle McPhee? Maybe her old law enforcement buddies fed her wrong info to make here look foolish. Just a thought.

before she's allowed to write about second hand accounts of third hand stories.

It sounds like what she said happened did happen. They stopped the guy, checked his trunk, asked him who a package was for. The guy said Hanley, and then FaceTimed Hanley. The cops ask if the guy is delivering a package to Hanley, Hanley says yes. Open the package, Fentanyl in the package.

He denied any knowledge that the guy was bringing him anything. The cops asked if they could look into the box, and he said yes to that, but he denied it was his. Since the dealer had said it wasn't his they got the ok to search from the person he said owned it.

Hanley needs better friends.

paint Gerry's Italian Kitchen in Watertown as complicit in the Marathon bombings because Tamerlan delivered pizza for them.

How did that worldwide "exclusive" work out for the woman who makes feline mating sound like Satie's piano works?

police report. Lets see. Red Meat = Dominicans, Lawrence & drugs. It's Trumpeter porn. Her follow up was going to feed off of the immigration status of the drug running scum bag. She ends up getting kneecapped by the mensa members own lawyer. Must be frustrating for this washed up conservative "crime" reporter.

Do they just take false stories at merit if your a regular citizens, usually the police listen to any lie told to them. That's how the court system keeps in business, False accusations.

Prosectors and law enforcement are known to deny someone is involved in a criminal investigation, only to turn around at a later date and charge said person.

It's based not just on law-enforcement sources but the guy's own lawyer.

I don't have any large scale drug dealer friends who would call me in a pinch when they get caught muling to Lawrence. How close does a person have to be to you before you answer a FaceTime? You've got to be pretty close to me before I even consider answering a voice call.

and the first thing they told me was never talk "business" on the phone.

They are not really talking about "Don't blame me and call me directly when you get caught with enough poison to be sent away for 20 years." It is, however, implied.

Now the sports radio will have nothing to talk about tomorrow. Juicy story and it didn’t even last the weekend

The Metros at Forest Hills were still from last Thursday. I missed my free Sudoku because of poor reporting?

I don't feel like breaking out my oldish papers, but didn't the Globe report this story on Saturday, only to state that there's no story now?

McPhee now enjoying having her ass kissed by the racist losers Kirk and Callahan over the fact that the Globe did not service the story to their satisfaction before going to to excoriate Kevin Cullen again while glossing over the many journalistic mistakes of Miss "I can drive drunk because don't you know who I think I am". Her sins are buried in their obsession with going after the Globe for showing them to continually be racist nitwits and costing their willfully blind management ad dollars.

I don't pay attention to Michele McPhee and can no longer see the Globe after canceling on the day of the fake Trump front page. As a reminder to new UHub readers, the woman who answered the Globe's "Dorchester" number told me she was in Manila, Philippines!

I do recall a history of the Red Sox (Boston Globe) smearing Sox players and officials including Hanley Ramirez, Terry Francona, Tom Yawkey, Manny Ramirez etc.

Regardless of the current Hanley Ramirez reportage, the Sox/Globe allowed him to be portrayed as a lazy troublemaker that they were happy to release earlier this season. This is what they do. They brought it up and they raised the issue. Stop blaming anybody else.

Who can forget when they decided to fire Terry Francona and released very personal details of his marriage and medication? Really, really shameless by the Globe/Sox.

I can only imagine how upsetting that must have been. I'm so proud of you for having the strength to talk about it.

One reason why I always mention the Globe's "Dorchester" telephone operator in Manila is because she was wonderful. 5 stars *****.

She should be running the Globe, although she joked with me she had never heard of Morrissey Boulevard or the paper itself.

As she went through her script to retain me as a Globe customer, I began asking her fun questions and we eventually gained each others confidence. I wish her well and I hope Henry and Pizzutti are honoring their call-takers in Manila, Philippines. Once again, can one of our university J-school students look at conditions, possibly similar to daily suicides at Apple in China?

As I sat in Fenway on Saturday night, and I became appreciative of how my beloved childhood (and adulthood!) sports franchise stopped being a Philadelphia Eagles-esque obnoxious sideshow once Larry Lucchino went away. (Expletive)head.
