The Fight of the Drunken Walrus Bros was nowhere near the parade
Don't let the media - especially the out-of-town Boston haters - deceive you into thinking that small pack of no doubt alcohol-infused bros from Sudbury or New Hampshire or some other sad excuse of a place got into their shirt-tearing brawl at the Patriots parade.
Look at the scrollwork in this video of their recreation of walruses on the beach during mating season. That's the Chrysanthemum building at 126 Salem St. in the North End, so nowhere near the parade. Also, the person who took the video says the scrum happened after the parade (another view).
But let's concentrate now on something good that happened during the parade: Patriots fans on the Common helping to free an ambulance stuck in the mud there.

Man- I remember when behavior
Man- I remember when behavior like that led to no primetime games for about 15 years or so in Foxborough
TMZ
The drunken Walrus Bros. brawl was also broadcast and commented on on the Los Angeles based TMZ program.
If TMZ reported
If TMZ reported that the Sun rose in the East and set in the West today I wouldn't believe them.
I mean I’m from Boston
But Sudbury, a sad excuse of a place? Is that why we send kids to their schools via METCO?
MA has plenty of dumpy towns, Sudbury isn’t one of them.
OK ...
Wayland, then. I mean, you know there's more to those towns than just stone walls and New England style church spires.
Wayland?? Keep trying
.
Seriously, Adam
I don't have a dog in this hunt, but Sudbury and Wayland are pretty nice places.
Seriously.
Wayland is one of the best school districts not only in MA, but the nation. Sounds like a horrible place to raise a kid.
you're missing the point
High-profile loutish behavior in Boston - yelling the N-word at Fenway, assaulting Keytar Bear, brawling at a parade - is often if not usually perpetrated by visitors from the suburbs.
This is a phenomenon in basically all metro areas: Many suburbanites see the city as their urban playground where the normal rules of human behavior don't apply, and disregard the fact that it's still a place where people live and work, just like their picturesque little village.

He has a long-standing bug up his ass about suburbs, for some reason.
The point is
they most likely came from the parade. If they got in a brawl on the commuter rail I think you could still say the drunken parade goers.
Yes, they went to the parade
But some of the stories I read made it sound like they started swinging while the Duck Boats were going by, confirming everybody's reputation of Bostonian, when, in fact, the parade went off very well.
C'mon, Adam
Its almost like saying a bars not liable for serving someone until theyre blind drunk then kick them out and they fall into traffic and die
The point is the parade has a ripple effect and causes problems not just along the parade route
Completely rational reason for the fight
The Herald talked to one of the people who posted video, who said the fight started because two groups of bellowers couldn't agree who was tougher.
well to be fair
How else are you going to settle that argument.
Ugh.
Seriously? Idiots... smh
They were probably just
They were probably just arguing about whether or not the decorative railings on the building were a good fit for the neighborhood's traditional character and architecture, and naturally things got heated
In the good old days at the Worcester Centrum...
Scenes such as this were pretty common, especially at ZZ Top/The Black Crowe's. These youngsters would've crashed hard...
I knew it!
Because I, as a savvy Uhub reader, recognized the scrollwork from an old item about North End residents being mad about it!!
I almost hate to say it
But when I saw the image, that argument about the scrollwork was the first thing that came to mind.
Any news on any arrests?
Seriously please tell me that some of the guys have been caught already?
DRUNKEN WALRUS BROS

Why do you feel the need to
Why do you feel the need to constantly defend yourself and you city? You are so defensive
