Many people are not good at parallel parking so i understand the need for those protective units.

You aren't meant to drive with the bumper guards on. You put them on after parallel parking. The whole point is caring how your bumpers look. If you have this on all the time, then your bumper looks stupid.

That Prius configuration speaks volumes about it's owner.

Your use of apostrophe's speak's volume's about your education.

Not because I bumped into other people, but because they bumped into me. And so when someone parked 2 inches behind me, I wouldn't have had to worry about damaging my care while inching my way out.

They're protecting their rare green MA plate.

I have no idea what that bumper sticker is trying to say.

Don't let the bastards grind you down.

"Don't let the bastards grind you down," I bet, although traditionally, it's rendered as a simpler "Illegitimi non carborundum" (source: the little lucite plaque my father-in-law had above the door down to his basement).

Neither of those phrases mean that that. O tempora. O mores.

Supposedly a "bastardized latin" reference, having mutated over time.

Hmmm. In other words, they wouldn't date you.

No surprise there.

That's actually a bit clever, if it's a Wyatt reference

And graven with diamonds in letters plain
There is written, her fair neck round about:
Noli me tangere, for Caesar's I am,
And wild for to hold, though I seem tame.
