From art to soccer, Wellesley shuts down public gatherings after resident diagnosed with coronavirus

Greg Cook reports that Wellesley College's Davis Museum "has suspended all public access through March 31st" following yesterday's news that one of two Norfolk County residents with a "presumptive" diagnosis of Covid-19, contracted at that Biogen meeting at the Marriott Long Wharf, is from Wellesley.

The Swellesley Report reports organizers of a local candidate forum scheduled for next week have canceled the event - and that leaders of a local youth soccer program have suspended the rest of its winter season.

I went to the C's game last night . Garden employees with purple gloves were wiping down surfaces with what I assume was anti-bacterial wipes. New Gojo sanitizer dispensers were mounted all over the place. Also inside North Station, employees with gloves were using the wipes .

All of that was ok, but compare that with pictures we see from China of people in full hazmat suits and masks using machines to attack everything in sight anti-bacterial spray.

I hope we are not seeing too little too late.
