Sad to read, but...
That place lost a lot of its charm to me after they renovated in like 2014. The new sheen on the place just seemed antithetical to the atmosphere you'd picture for a place of its namesake. It certainly was a staunch departure from the Dalton Street location, too.
And nothing of value was lost.
I was more bummed when Jae's closed.
This place was always a half-hearted attempt.
It started out as a hipster
It started out as a hipster wasteland and ended up looking like some generic product of Bar Rescue. Too precious by half. Definitely my least favorite bar in Inman.
It’s sad to see so many places closing forever
Regardless of whether I liked them or not. Empty storefronts are depressing.
