Maybe my eyes are going, but
Maybe my eyes are going, but I'm counting 53 individuals murdered? Jesus.
55 confirmed here but more likely 59
A body they found burned to a crisp in a Dorchester Park months is still under investigation (can’t ID)
a woman who was likely killed in what was no doubt a murder-suicide at Falcon Pier.
the two children who died when they’re mother jumped off a parking garage in a murder suicide at NEU should also be classified as homicides. The city classified it as manslaughter.
Two more people are lying in Critical condition after shooting in Dorchester earlier this week.
Sadly, this is an extremely normal year for Boston. Hardly news to be honest.
Murder is not unknown in Egleston.
But committed in elderly/disabled housing is unusual. Even more so that the suspect is over 70.
How sad for her friends and family.
For what it’s worth...
Not saying that this was the case here but Elderly BHA developments aren’t always the most demure. Lots of older residents at WP have family ties to younger folks with gang involvement in some of the Federal and State developments. It works like this: “young bucks” have their related “OG’s” “hold” product for them, knowing full well that the police are much less likely, if ever at all to break down an elderly persons door. Walnut Park is not Spring St in WRox.

Given the context...
...that's an incredibly callous and messed up thing to say. Maybe remain silent next time.
Yes, good point.
I’ve been in that tower and know (or knew) the neighborhood well.
Lots of good people there but it’s an area that does not get as much attention from the city as others.
Stfu! It could've just been
Stfu! It could've just been domestic! ignorant and stereotypical!
