So glad Walsh was able to address Methodone Mile before leaving for DC. Very cool he isn't making it the next mayor's problem.

Walsh was a cancer to Boston. Drove thru Methadone Mile earlier and noticed an uptick in police cruisers there. For someone who advocates for racial equality, he left many minority businesses in the dark. Also, real swell to put a big advertisement for a medical marijuana dispensary in the heart of this epidemic. I wish more Bostonians would get into local politics as oppose to the National sh*tshow every 4 years.

I got this link from a person that I respect a lot, who has been doing advocacy work to get this addressed. It seems very reasonable to me.

South End - Roxbury Community Partnership needs your help with “Charlie Baker: Addressing the Public Health Crisis on Mass & Cass”

This area is surprisingly tame for the amount and type of foot traffic I regularly see

It’s almost as if there isn’t a “safe” injection site being called a “comfort station” (really an open air drug market) being run by the Boston Public Health Commission on Atkinson Street.

Build it and they will come.
