... for the scooter and bike gang menace, the excuses in particular have been outlandish. These guys can ride their vehicles up to an area where they can scoot around to their heart's content, just as dirt bikers do. That area is not a major urban area and most certainly not the I-93.

FWIW- the MSP had reported the guy as suicidal- was in other accounts

Saw story this morning and knew it would get turned into something here akin to "killjoy fascist cops ruining wrong-way rider's fun"

Although I half expected a helicopter crash in the area given all the airborne activity in these parts.

Troopers Apprehend Suicidal Man in Medford:

At approximately 9 a.m., Danvers Police attempted to stop a scooter operator who reportedly had a knife and had threatened to harm himself. The male was operating a 2019 Yamaha YW50 scooter erratically. The operator was later spotted in the area of Centennial Drive in Peabody and then a few minutes later driving north on the southbound side of Route 95.
