Heron with catfish

Mary Ellen was down by the Charles River at Millennium Park this morning and watched a great blue heron enjoy a fresh catfish meal. It took the bird a half hour to subdue and finally consume the entire large fish, she reports.

Those spines can hurt! Also, they make some really strange clicking noises. My son Caught one last summer.
