Why do people act like this? And while we're at it, let's get him for fashion crimes.

I was under the impression that phone theft was pointless, and pretty much nonexistent, ever since they became capable of being bricked remotely.

I thought the phone theft thing was just to help make it more difficult for victims to take pictures and report assailants after they try to rob someone of something more useful, but the last couple weeks in Universal Hub make it sound like phone theft is the primary purpose.

Maybe she had a SF Giants hat on. Typical Dodgers fan behavior.

Or maybe he's just a jerk. Stop making excuses for assaulting women.

The reference was to the Giants fan that severely beaten while attending a Dodger's game in Los Angeles while wearing a Giant's cap. The beating was extreme and it was widely reported in the media as the case progressed.

They can still sell it for parts. A non-working, locked iPhone still sells for $100+ last I checked.

None of my business but in my day petty criminals weren't so festively dressed.

After Labor Day" rule applies only to shoes. Call me an iconoclast or an unconscionable dork, but I wear white jeans year-round. (I also iron a shirt for Zoom calls, and often feel without style or grace, wearing shoes without socks in cold weather, so my take here is clearly suspect.)

For a more authoritative perspective on the subject, watch "Serial Mom", available for four bucks on many streaming services, or free on *ahem* Peacock.

What's the point of looking for him? I'm sure there is a mental health excuse (like smoking pot) or some such.

Which bigotries is this code for? Is it racism, ableism, and/or classism?

would there be a record of someone getting their left hand bandaged up at a local hospital; or, would that be a hipaa violation ?

That's to keep his punching hand and wrist safe from injury while beating women.
