Hmmm seems to me like maybe, just maybe Deval Patrick does not have the ability to deal with the political machine on Beacon Hill. He seems more interested in going to NY for books deals when the Casino debate is raging, and Atlanta to hang out with Biotech people when the state is debating taxes. His half a million dollar + a year office in DC, expensive drapes, and that sweet ride of his were all purchased while he was taking money away from police officers , and cities/towns. He does NOT know what he is doing, which is evident by the fact that so many in the State House, and in cities/towns across the state do not like him. Sure the liberal base is still on board but I think he has lost control of the party regulars which can be quite dangerous.

Whatever you think of Deval, the state Legislature's behavior has been reprehensible. The blog posts are right: I didn't elect Therese Murray, and if I had the opportunity, I'd vote her ass out of office. Ditto DeLeo.

Yeah but you voted for your rep, who unless they are one of a handful who rebel, regularly have drinks and dinner with the rest of them and they go along for the ride. If your not part of the solution your part of the problem.
I myself think they are doing better then the Gov, and would vote for them over him. So in my opinion they are part of the solution. If you do not agree, then do not vote for your rep next time around.
