Fun with the freeze
By adamg on Thu, 02/02/2023 - 2:16pm
WHDH's Jeremy Reiner has a couple of tips on how to make an insta-cloud with a cup or pot of hot water if it actually gets down to -10 F. on Saturday (that's -10 in actual temperature, none of this "real feel" windchill stuff), including:
Throw water out/up/away from you to avoid scalding (kids, let your parents do this trick)

Winter's answer to the deep-fried Thanksgiving
turkey challenge: fun when it works, but potentially disastrous.
agree
Yup. Boiling water on skin is no fun.
Magoo sez
Magoo is going to try this trick with Magoo’s pee pee juice and instead of singing the Artist formally known as Prince’s famous song Purple Rain, Magoo is going to sing Magoo’s modified rendition called Yellow Rain. Magoo will be sure not to hydrate much between now and the deep freeze so that Magoo’s pee pee juice will be nice and yellow. Magoo.
Formally
He was known as Mr. Nelson.
Yo Magoo
Pics or it didn't happen
Shut up
Your infantile scatological shtick is tired and stupid.
Like I'm gonna take winter
Like I'm gonna take winter advice from the actor who got ran over by a snow plow...
No school tomorrow!
All Boston Public Schools are closed tomorrow due to a cold weather emergency so the kids will have plenty of time to do this.
Saturday morning
Those temps are expected around 5am on Saturday morning. I was thinking about filming it from the yard but there won't be any light to see it.
Much safer -- try to freeze a soap bubble or film
When it gets really cold you can freeze a soap bubble or film
Just make the soap bubble the usual way and have it sit on something like a ring or the mouth of a funnel
if you carefully transfer the bubble outside and provide protection against the wind -- the bubble will freeze
