Boston Police report they are looking for a person they say robbed somebody at 22 Slayton Way between 8 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. on May 27.

He's described as a light skinned teen who was last seen wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the logo of the Misfits, a band out of northern New Jersey that helped pioneer horror punk, which relied on lyrics and violent imagery from horror movies of the 1970s and 1980s.

However, unlike the Misfits, who also pioneered devil locks - business in the back and most of the front, with one long lock cascading down over the nose - the suspect had corn rows and a man bun.

If he looks familiar, contact detectives at 617-343-4275 or the anonymous tip line by calling 800-494-TIPS or by texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

Misfits have sold more t-shirts than records.

Somebody should check video of recent purchases of Misfit shirts at the Fenway Target to find this kid's mom.

While I don't know that your claim is necessarily true, that's definitely the reputation. Motorhead sold somewhere between 15M-30M records worldwide, given that they were around from from early 70's-2015, the numbers aren't great. They did make some great music, and I'm not really sure album sales were all that important to them whereas playing clubs and the festival circuit was. I'd like to think that Lemmy drank more rum and cokes than albums sold.

The Ramones also sit at the top of the more t-shirts than albums discussion.

Bob Stanley of Saint Etienne who is an encyclopedia of pop music put that factoid in his 2014 book Yeah Yeah Yeah - The story of Pop Music From Bill Haley to Beyonce.

Also, Lemmy's mole should have had its own record deal or sitcom.

Given the suspect description (approximately 5'2" in height) and the picture, I think they might be a pre-teen, tbh.

You mean white?

Believe or not, there are white "urban youth" who have the same issues and dysfunctional home-life as "black" and "brown" urban youth/teens.

People come in a range of skin colors, even within families. Ethnicities don't neatly track to skin colors, either.

White is more of an ethnicity than it is a skin tone. I'm white presenting because I'm ethnically white but only because I lack formal tribal identification like my cousins. But I'm "light skinned" in the sense that I am about 3 or 4 shades from the "white" end of the spectrum. (Take a look at the makeup section at a pharmacy sometime).

Late 70s and early 80s...

The Misfits logo comes from The Crimson Ghost, a delightfully silly action-adventure-crime serial from 1946.

(In keeping with the tradition of honoring bad guys from decades earlier, punk bands today silkscreen Roy Stalin from Better off Dead on the back of their jackets.)

…. in the news because his age will be known.

But his image is shown now. I suppose because his identity and age are not known yet.

His face looks familiar. Too bad facial recognition is prohibited.
