Charlestown utility pole at a jaunty angle today

A roving UHub photographer snapped a utility pole approaching 45 degrees at 275 Medford St., near the Charlestown community center around 7 p.m. Boston firefighters (one in the lower left) were already on scene.

That Jeep deserves a commendation for rushing in to hold up the pole. Perhaps a Kinopio Medal is in order.

It is only keeping the pole from fully blocking all vehicle traffic.
Not long until a screen-staring box truck driver ignores the hazard and helps it complete that mission.

I understand that 'If you're a utility pole you have to expect to be hit' but did anyone warn them about PEDESTRIANS doing the hitting.
I agree with @perruptor: That Jeep deserves a medal. Imagine if a school bus on a field trip had been going by at the time of that wanton pedestrian aggression. We need to keep our sidewalks safe for scooters, mopeds, bicycles and skateboards. /S
