Convicted sex offender uses rash and hemorrhoid ruse to get in an exam room with a woman doctor in a Chelsea clinic and fondle himself to completion, DA says

Christopher Fisher

A Boston man with a history of sex crimes dating to 1997 was ordered held in lieu of $50,000 bail on a variety of charges, including indecent assault and battery, for masturbating during a medical exam he'd requested at a clinic in Chelsea on Friday, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports - adding the quick-thinking doctor managed to grab his exam gown and use it as a shield as he was finishing.

Christopher Fisher, 58, who told the Massachusetts Sexual Offenders Registry Board just last week that he was homeless and camping out in Franklin Park, is a Level 3 sex offender with multiple convictions for open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior, the DA's office says.

According to prosecutors, Fisher walked into the MGH Healthcare Center on Everett Avenue in Chelsea with a supposed concern about "a rash on and around his genitals and bleeding from possible hemorrhoids." He asked specifically for a woman doctor:

After an initial assessment, the doctor asked Fisher to change into a hospital gown for further examination. The doctor proceeded with a medical assistant present, per MGH policy regarding such exams. The doctor told Fisher she did not observe any rashes and noticed Fisher becoming aroused. Fisher then asked the doctor to further examine his genitals due to additional concerns. During this exam, Fisher insisted he suffered from a rash while grabbing his erect penis and saying "Look! Look at it! There is something there."

The doctor observed Fisher moving his hand in an up and down motion, turning his body toward her, and attempting to ejaculate on her. The doctor lifted the hospital gown up as a barrier between her and Fisher.

Police met with the doctor and assistant. The assistant corroborated the doctor’s statements and provided officers with a bag containing the hospital gown and seat covering bearing Fisher’s bodily fluids.

In addition to his newly wet gown, police also recovered his socks, filled with 17 1/2 "white oval pills" that turned to be prescription painkillers, the DA's office says.

"I am very sorry for what these women witnessed while they were simply trying to do their jobs," DA Kevin Hayden said in a statement.

Fisher was formally charged with two counts of indecent exposure, two counts of open and gross lewdness, assault, indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 and possession of a class E substance.

Innocent, etc.

Next time this creep is examined the doc should prescribe a sharp scalpel to the area for the cure.

"Ah yes, I see the issue. We're going to have to have our large male nursing assistant come in here and debride that rash right now!"

Are they like doctors?
Are there gentlemen doctors?

I like educated and capable doctors. What body parts they have is less important to me than their skills.

What if this sex offender preyed on men? Would it be less offensive if he tried it on a man?

We have this squad of medical students doing their rounds - you mind if they join?

Or "it's our policy to have more than one staff member present" and send in the most no-bullshit LPN you have.

In other words, more than one person in a room when the red flags go up.

“ Police met with the doctor and assistant. The assistant corroborated the doctor’s statements and provided officers with a bag containing the hospital gown and seat covering bearing Fisher’s bodily fluids.”

Pretty standard practice. I don’t think it was this doctor’s first rodeo.

Sounds like MGH's policy was always to have two people. Unfortunately, an extra person didn't stop this guy from being horrible.

I thought your comment was on point. The hospital really needs to have better policies than this.

Also, may I interested you in UHub Horizons, a userscript to hide comments by known shitstirrers: https://github.com/timmc/userscripts/blob/master/uhub-horizons.user.js

(Basic code editing skills required to update the list of usernames to match your own needs. Haven't bothered to make a proper UI for it yet!)

We used to have places where guys like this would get treatment; Not anymore.

Thanks, President 40.

The ones who closed the facilities but failed to follow up with funds for community supported care were our own home grown Democrats.

Blame where blame is due.
