And I heard from someone on the BU faculty at the time that BU faculty and employees voted for Silber to get rid of him. True or not, that shows the feelings about him.
That election is the only reason I hold onto the mythology that I am not a rabid partisan -- I COULD vote for a Republican, if they were the better candidate. I mean, in this case? They were. Ever since? Nah.
