Patriots sour on Mayo

After the way things went, it's hardly surprising Kraft went "What the hell, man?" and finally expressed his Mayo nays. Will it take a miracle to whip up a winning season next year?

Not just covering the spread, but topping the opponent.

That’s the only reason why they pushed to win today.

A beautiful FU to the family that has driven not one, but two franchises into the ground.

That's some pretty low-class treatment of their guy by the Krafts. Sign a guy, then can him after only a year?

Yeah, it was a bad season, but what did they realistically expect? The writing was on the wall for the need for rebuilding after the B&B era completely ended, and what material did they give Mayo to work with?

Is it true that they're so quick on the trigger because Vrabel is on the market? Let's see... former Patriot player, part of the glory years, up & coming coach, their type of guy, etc.... All the same things they said about Mayo 49 weeks ago?
I hope Vrabel or whomever makes them pay extra for it: 'I would have been happy to sign a deal for X, but seeing how you treated one of your own like ****? You're going to have to put more up-front, more years on this deal - so there's more guaranteed money if I'm going to take the risk of working with you!'

I'd be happy to take a year's worth of pay at whatever he's getting even if I knew I'd be out of a job in year.

Why don't they give the job to one of the sports talk hosts? They seem to know exactly what to do.

But getting your first coaching job with a pretty bad team and then being fired after one year is not going to be helpful in getting him future coaching jobs.

We’ll need to whip up a miracle.

It's literally the same joke Adam made.

Aaahhh crrrrap!!!

For being apparently the only person on Al Gore's entire internet to make the obvious connection when reporting on a story involving Kraft and Mayo.

In the old days, I would have made a point of getting in a reference to "Airplane," specifically this scene:

My condiments to the chef.

welp I guess Kraft was looking for the Real Mayonnaise.

I just want it to be the dude who has the hot coach dad thing going on.

He is like fine wine.. just gets better with age.

Sorry folks could care less about football but if I am gonna hafta see someone's face splashed every day on news sites during game season, at least let it be someone handsome to look at.

Richard Gere was the Real Mayonnaise.

If I had peanuts I'd throw them at you @adamg and almost every responder.
