Gunfire, foot chase across Fairmount Hill
Boston Police report arresting a Roxbury teen on Dana Avenue last night following a foot chase from the scene of a possible armed home invasion around the corner on Washington Street.
Police say Feneli Morales, 18, of Roxbury, faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and discharging a gun within 500 feet of a house. Police say officers investigating a possible armed home invasion on Washington Street spotted him and chased him to a yard on Dana, where, police say, they found Morales packing a loaded firearm, duct tape and clothing.
Police flooded the area along Truman Parkway looking for another suspect, one resident reports.
Innocent, etc.

Oh Fudge!
I lived for 5 years until 2009 right off Truman by Fairmount. Honestly, it was always a quiet neighborhood considering it's location. And the Police Academy is right up the street.
There was a series of drug
There was a series of drug busts/crimes up that way several years ago. I don't see any problems when I drive through, but I remember the news reports. It's certainly not River st.
"...around the corner on Washington..."
Washington Av., not Washington St., is close to Dana Av.
Google wrong on this?
Wouldn't put it past them, I know our 4,000 Washington streets confuse me no end, I can only imagine what they do to Google, but look at the Google map below.
Unless they changed it, it's
Unless they changed it, it's street.
Such a weird street
That's the one by that park, right? That's like Wakefield Ave for 100 feet, then Washington Street for a couple hundred feet, then something else? So weird.
EDIT: The map just loaded. So yeah, that was a pointless post. But still, that street is odd.
Which yard?
Does anyone know which house or which yard? I used to own the house on the corner of Dana and Washington and would like to know.
