Woman robbed at gunpoint near mayor's old house

A woman was robbed at gunpoint around midnight at Savin Hill Avenue and Tuttle Street in Dorchester, only a couple of doors down from the house Mayor Walsh is getting ready to leave for a new home in Lower Mills.

The suspect was described as black, in his teens, about 5'8" and 200 lbs. He jumped into a black SUV that fled down Maryland Street.

Walking to and from the station especially late at night is hazardous to your health because the muggers and bugggers (can't use the Th*g word) are waiting for you

Hate to dredge up Mike B., but I always loved his term Young Urban Maggot.

I didn't know Lower Mills was in Savin Hill?

Don't you mean he is moving FROM Savin Hill to Lower Mills?

Isn't that one of those "safe neighborhoods" all my friends and realtors keep telling me about?

It only seems like yesterday that I was castigated for referring to it by its old moniker "stab n kill".

Free ice cream anyone?

People sometimes get mugged and stabbed in Brookline too.

But here is the thing with Brookline. Everyone knows what Brookline is. It is a wealthy suburb with very little crime and for the most part, a very desirable place to live. The people of Brookline don't need to defend themselves or their town. They certainly don't need to justify their property values and they don't need semi annual "peace parades" and free ice cream.

Unlike John Costello.

You are a crappy Nickelback CD that keeps skipping. Same old tired trope, same old tired trope. Dorchester bad. Ice cream? Safe? Same thing over and over. Same thing over and over.

It's funny cause your the one who sounds like a broken record. It's like your UHubs own andy rooney

Work it! Work it!

Rat-infested Allston basement studio of yours. Work it! Work it!

That's what we called it when I was a (white) 'urban youth'

The T station is still shady, but, over the bridge is very nice/safe. Calling before the bridge Savin Hill is kind of meh.

Savin hill is the whole neighborhood not just the part over the bridge. Cushing ave is in savin hill. Yes OTB is beautiful and leafy and much nicer than the bits closer to dot ave.
