Police: Dorchester 15-year-old packing three guns fires on group of people, misses
Boston Police report arresting a 15-year-old they say used one of his three guns to shoot at four guys outside 30 Bailey St. around 12:10 this morning.
Police said that after firing shots, he jumped into a white Civic driven by a 17-year-old with no license. Officers, responding to the area after being alerted to the gunfire by the department's ShotSpotter system, spotted the car leaving the scene and stopped it several blocks away, on Brookvale Street.
As the vehicle pulled to a stop, the rear passenger exited the car clutching his waistband and fled on foot. Officers gave chase and during the pursuit observed the suspect discard an object in the area of 6 Brookvale Street. Officers were eventually able to place the suspect into custody. A canvas of the suspect’s flight path produced three discarded firearms in the area between 4 and 6 Brookvale Street. Officers recovered an unloaded black 9mm Glock 17 semi-automatic firearm with a high-capacity feeding device, an unloaded black and gray Ruger 9mm semi-automatic firearm, and a loaded black Beretta 9mm semi-automatic firearm with obliterated serial number. A search of the suspect revealed a bag and a box of additional ammunition.
The suspect, 15, was arrested on charges of delinquency for unlawful possession of a firearm (three counts), unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm with an obliterted serial number and unlawful possession of a large-capacity feeding device. He also had two outstanding felony warrants, police say.
The driver, 17, was charged with being delinquent for not having a valid driver's license.
Two other people in the car were interviewed, then released.

Any charges for firing at
Any charges for firing at people?
15 years old, give yourselves
15 years old, give yourselves a chance.
Two outstanding felony
Two outstanding felony warrants @ 15 while attempting another series of major felonies including multiple homicide. This punklet is a lost cause.
The parents should be ashamed and I feel bad for the other schoolchildren which might share space with this psychotic crime wave.
I think
I think if he's done all that by 15, his parents do not care.
15 year old shooting a gun
and with two other felonies. How about we hold him responsible for his actions, instead of saying "oh, he's just a juvenile, let's cut him a break."
Perhaps if we had done that in the first place, he may not be facing court for the third time.
And identifying this person will NOT be the end of the world for him or society at large. But OMG, he may not be able to get a job later. Perhaps that's a message we should be sending to other 'juveniles" - screw up, and it can affect you later in life.
hmm
i was originally going to remark on the fact that as of the time you wrote your comment, and i am writing mine, nobody here has advocated that this guy be "cut a break"
i do have to question why you're so callous about the idea this will impact his ability to get employment. what world do you live in where an unemployable ex felon is better than one that can sustain himself?
Nobody needs to advocate
for this guy to be "cut a break" because our justice system has already provided for that. How, by treating him differently in the system because he's a "juvenile". And the "OMG, he won't be able to get a job" is one of the knee-jerk "justifications" for retaining a system that gives more consideration to a suspect's age than to the seriousness of the crimes he's charged with.
WOW
Its a good thing he was on vacation he probably packs a machine gun when he goes to school
Yikes
Did the same 15 year old write this article?
What do you think?
Could you be a bit more specific?
Probably a very smug,
Probably a very smug, condescending way to complain about a type in "obliterted serial number"
Typo*
Sorry, had to.
too close
We live at #8 Brookvale and were sleeping at the time. We didn't know about this until I just logged in. This is too creepy for comfort. But we're glad no one was hurt.
Look on the bright side
You almost got a free gun.
