Three shot in Codman Square, one dead

A 16-year-old girl became Boston's first murder victim of the year when she was fatally shot in the head in the area of Lyndhurst and Washington streets in Dorchester around 6:30 p.m., Live Boston reports.

Two men were also shot, but are expected to survive. One was found on Regina Road, a few blocks away.

16 year old female died of her wounds - she and her BF were shot on Lyndhurst St.
