Man shot in the neck in carjacking attempt on Erie Street in Dorchester

A man was shot repeatedly on Erie Street near Merrill Street around 10:30 p.m. The homicide unit was called in due to the severity of the victim's injuries.

Stanley Staco reports that man may have been shot when he refused to give up his car.
