Police hunt guy they say punched a man to the pavement outside Theater District club, then fled on a private bus
Boston Police have released photos of a man wanted for a closing-time attack in the Theater District they say sent his victim to the hospital for emergency brain surgery earlier this month.
Police say that shortly before 1:50 a.m. on Nov. 5, officers responded to a call for an assault and battery in progress outside Royale, 279 Tremont St.
On arrival, officers located an adult male victim who was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of serious injuries which necessitated emergency brain surgery.
Witnesses informed the officers that the suspect had punched the victim in his face, causing him to fall to the ground and strike his head. The suspect then got aboard a private chartered bus which left the area prior to the officer’s arrival. While the bus and several parties involved have since been identified by district detectives, the suspect involved has not been at this time.
