Roslindale dispensary robbed at gunpoint

The High Profile x Budega dispensary, 3995 Washington St., was robbed shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday by three men in ski masks, at least two with guns. One wore a three-quarter-length dark coat with fur on the hood, another a tan cap above his ski mask.
The thieves may have made off with as much a $50,000 in cash, plus marijuana, from the dispensary, which opened in November.
They fled on Archdale Road towards South Street and the Arboretum.
The dispensary was "temporarily closed" today.

Id say this is most likely an inside job. Worker or former worker knew when most of the cash would be in the place on a Sunday night.

I was actually thinking about if something like this would happen. The ridiculous banking laws that force these places to hold large sums of cash make them targets.
While I personally haven't been in there, I wonder if they had a cash holding system similar to convenience stores where they insert the 20s and up into a machine that stores them for deposit at a later date and allows them to have less "cash in the drawer" when people come in.

That, or a customer - they aren’t yet set up to take debit card payments so it’s cash only, which anyone who had been in there would know.
When will the Feds get it
If people could use credit cards to buy weed, this wouldn't have happened. When the dispensaries can can join the 21st century, financially, this silliness will end.
