Marcella Street in Roxbury raked with gunfire; houses, cars hit, but no people

Around 3:30 a.m., somebody fired as many as a dozen rounds along Marcella Street in Roxbury between Highland and Centre streets - but with shell casings also found on the other side of Centre on New Heath Street and on Centre up past New Heath.

Bullets flew into the first, second and third floors of one house on Marcella Street - with police finding a spent shell in a second-floor bedroom. Casings were found at four different locations along the street. Two cars were also hit by gunfire. No injuries reported, at least.
