The MBTA reports if you're heading west on the Green Line, brace for delays because there's a trolley that sighed, clutched its chest and went to meet its maker at Park Street.

Kenmore Square turned into a trolley graveyard this morning, after one just left this mortal coil, jamming up the works. At 9:51 a.m., the MBTA reported it was still bustituting riders on the C and D lines, while B Line riders were able to ride the rails once again.
At 7:02 a.m., the MBTA reported an outbound trolley was pushing up daisies at Park Street. It's since been given a more proper burial and service is back to normal, the T says.
The MBTA reports B Line delays of up to 15 minutes due to a trolley that got to BU Central and then would go no further.
At 11:20 a.m., the MBTA reported delays of up to 15 minutes on the Riverside Line as workers "assisted a turtle from the tracks" at Chestnut Hill.

Three Quincy teens were arraigned Friday on charges they decided to go all droog on some other South Shore teens and bash in their heads at the Kenmore Green Line stop on May 10, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports, adding police are continuing to try to ID two other alleged attackers. Update, 8:21 a.m.: T reports service back to normal
The MBTA reports the Green Line is dead between Copley and Government Center because of a switch problem at Arlington. Take the Orange Line instead, or the 39 bus should your travel plans include Huntington Avenue, they say.
At 11:08 a.m., the MBTA reported delays on inbound Green Line service due to a deceased trolley at Kenmore.
Earlier in the morning, the T reported similarly pining-for-the-fjords status on the Mattapan Line due to a no-longer-functioning trolley there - but that one was bad enough that the T was advising riders to just forget about it and take the Route 24 bus instead.

At 9:49 a.m., the MBTA reported delays on the Green Line Extension between East Somerville and Gilman Square as workers went into Officer Mike mode and escorted some baby ducks off the tracks.

Transit Police report that around 3 this morning, somebody in a 2015 Hyundai drove onto the inbound Green Line tracks at Packards Corner, and then, realizing he couldn't escape the clutches of the sarlacc pit there, got out with a pal and ran away. "TPD Detectives to follow up," police say. "Vehicle towed from scene, no damage to tracks."
The MBTA was forced to rustle up some buses to get Riverside Line riders between Fenway and Reservoir due to an issue with the overhead wires near Brookline Hills.
The T is reporting delays of up to 15 minutes along Beacon Street due to a trolley that diverted to Train Valhalla at St. Mary's.
The MBTA reports that signal issues at Government Center mean Green B and C trains are currently making Park Street the end of the line.
