Snow joke

Kirk Williamson's video, above, shows his commute this morning from Cape Ann to Beverly. Not the most exciting thing in the world once you realize he's figured out how to drive down 128 in the snow while holding a camera and so won't be sliding off the road - until the last 15 seconds or so, when you will see something that will make you burst out laughing because it is just so ludicrously absurd.

That's awesome!
Segway even in a blizzard.
It reminds me of the twister scene in "Wizard of Oz"
Where they look out the window and there's the mean woman on her bicycle.
Freaky!!
Imagine riding a segueway in this weather!!
That's funnyunny.
That's funnyunny.

Again with the tipping of the hat to you, sir.

That's so funny. And kind of scary.
Boyfriend was just telling me about a guy he saw riding a modified Razor scooter down a street near the Hancock building - Scooter Boy had rigged a sail out of a garbage bag and was using wind power to his advantage.
Now.......
That's interesting....and funny!! What a riot, Lyss. I guess a garbage bag can be as good as anything to keep the scooter under control.
Scooter Guy
Good to see weather doesn't stop him.
This video's a little scary.
Watching the video, I kept thinking that there'd be one of those "chain-reaction" rear-end car collisions. Glad it didn't happen, though.
Hey Buddy...
Keep your eyes on he road!!!
(j/k - cool video).
Weren't we all
supposed to be riding those things by 2008?
Absolute idiot....
Yes, the guy on the Segway was amusing. But unless Mr. Williamson was using a hands-free camera, he is an absolute idiot to drive while video-recording, especially in such snowy conditions.
Sorry, folks, but I tend to sort of agree with Mr. Goat.
It's true that this region is a region of wusses. The whole business of panicking and running out to buy the whole store when they predict a regular nor'easter is a perfect example of that.
