The audacity of Jax
By adamg on Wed, 11/12/2008 - 11:00pm
The Roslindale Square Jax took down some of its "CLOSING FOREVER!" signs this week to help inspire all who pass by with new signs about Barack Obama's election. Apparently, we no longer have to fear that Jax is going out of business, more than a year after putting up its first "LIQUIDATING TO THE BARE WALLS!" signs, and now we can once again hope to get 50% off scrubs at Jax all the time.

One-year celebration?
I was wondering if Jax had already celebrated the one year anniversary of their going out of business sale. At some point they will have been going out of business longer than they actually were in business. I thought I was going to slightly miss their junk-filled store, but it looks like they're never going to give me the chance.
Speaking of signs, the Village Market's most important message is that they have no public restrooms. They have 3 signs on their front door putting this slogan in your face. You'd think they might advertise something more interesting, like a sale on chicken legs.
