Bizarro twist in Gary Zerola's trial on charges of pissing in public and attacking a cop after a Celtics playoff game: Jury finds him innocent even as he was asking judge to plead guilty.

That's not a guilty plea
The article said they asked for a continuance without finding (CWOF), which is *not* a guilty plea.
My understanding is that people ask for a CWOF for a variety of reasons other than guilt, such as fear of an imperfect system resulting in an unjust conviction, wanting to reduce stress from the charge and pretrial, not being able to afford the additional expense of a trial, the charge hanging over them is impeding employment, etc.
