Jamaica Plain News reports that after two years of pandemic-related absence, Lilac Sunday returns to the Arnold Arboretum on May 8.

Jamaica Plain News reports the Arnold Arboretum is asking people to stay away on May 10 because there's no way to maintain social distancing with the sorts of crowds that usually come that day to sniff the lilacs.
The Arboretum, which announced the Lilac Sunday cancellation a month ago, says the lilacs will be in bloom before and after May 10, so no reason to cram in on that one day.
