A grub-infested oak can ruin your whole day

Jamaica Plain Patch reports nobody was hurt when the wind toppled the bug-gnawed tree onto the Jamaicaway yesterday, smashing one windshield and hitting another vehicle.

I am impressed that they noted the type of tree. Oak is not a host for Asian longhorned beetle, so no worries that it was *those* kind of grubs. Also, of course, glad no one was hurt when the tree fell.

I' surprised "Swilly Gill" hasn't said that the people deserved being struck by a tree because they drive motor vehicles.
